HISTORY
The LeaderShop, formerly known as the Community Extension Project (CEP), was founded in 1978 and is an IRS tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the mission to “empower youth to become community minded individuals through diverse programs that foster confidence, knowledge and leadership.”
For over 44 years, The LeaderShop has been dynamically serving youth beginning in kindergarten all the way through high school and has become an integral service in the community for providing youth service and leadership opportunities and positive mental health promotion. Programming continues to adapt to the needs of each new generation of youth and community that is served.
