HIGH SCHOOL
High School Leadership Program
Our High School Leadership Program empowers 9th through 12th grade students to develop into confident, community-minded leaders through the planning and implementation of service projects that benefit their communities. Participants collaborate to identify a community need, then plan, budget, market, and implement their service projects. In addition, this group also plans volunteer outings and social recreational activities Involvement in our High School Leadership Program gives teens the opportunity to build their leadership skills and relationships with peers while serving their community.
Teen Leaders
Utilizing the power of peer-to-peer education, our Teen Leaders program empowers 9-12th grade students to serve as leaders and role models for younger students. Teen participants engage in training sessions where they gain skills in activity planning, group facilitation, collaboration and more. Next, Teen Leaders then put these newfound skills into action by serving as facilitators at workshops, conferences, and school assemblies for younger students. Through these hands-on leadership opportunities, teens learn to effectively lead group discussions, educational activities, team-building exercises, energizers, ice breakers and more. While learning these tangible facilitation skills, Teen Leaders have a positive impact on younger students while gaining confidence in their ability to effectively lead others.
